Summer Fun!

This summer is flying by super fast, hard to believe. Our family is having fun.

July we started out the month celebrating the 4th. It is one of our favorite times on the year, we spend lots of quality time together and get out and enjoy the outdoors and our Freedom. This year Darren and I decided to have a 4th of July weekend party. I was planning for months and so excited. We had around 65 family and friends come by. I Loved it. The weather started out hot but rain came to the south and east of us, we were spared and it brought cooler weather. Perfect! The gators were big hits with the kids, they were taken on lots of rides. We had good food and great fellowship. The night ended with fireworks and apparently a firefly show (by the thousands). It was a great night. We are already talking about doing it again next year.

We also were able to take the boat out this weekend a few times. We were able to take Ruben and my mom out before all the family left to go home.
