It's beginning to look alot like Christmas......

Decorating our Tree....
This year is the first year we went and picked a real tree. I don't know if its that much better or not, verdict is still out. I liked our very large fake one. We bought the biggest tree they already had cut down but it doesn't look that big in the house. Plus, I don't like that you have to pay for one every year. (I am cheap.) Also I just keep forgetting to water this one. It just needs to last until Christmas, right? We put the tree in our new addition, it's waiting for cabinets and to be finished so we decided to lay a piece of carpet down and put the tree in it. I think it looks so nice with the red walls. So we decorated the room up too.

Decorating the girls tree in their room.
The girls were super goober excited to have a tree in their room again. Since Annie and Allie were so small and curious the last two years we haven't had the girls tree up.

They are so funny when it's time to take pics, they act like they have been practicing posing. They kept saying how about we do this and you take a picture. We took a few...this is the best!

The year is coming to a close and it will be here before I am ready. We have a few Christmas parties on the calendar and family coming this weekend. I am excited for all the memories we are going to make, time spent with family, and God.

Emilie Kindergarten Field Trip

Last Tuesday Emilie had a Kindergarten field trip. I was able to go with her. We went to Monterey Vet office, Green Farm and then to Post Family Farms.

The kids were looking at x-rays of some animals
that swallowed stuff, like balls, toys and one had
a pin in it's stomach. They vet showed them and
they tried to guess what the animal swallowed.

Green Farm. They came in with a load of corn and
poured some of it out and let the kids play in it. Emilie
is in the middle swimming in the corn.
Green Farms again...Todd Green let the kids climb and play on lots of tractors, trucks and farm equipment. They also all got a ride on a tractor. They had lots of fun.

It's one of my favorite times of the year...Fall!

Fall is here. One of my favorite times of the year. Love the cooler air and the
wonderful colors of the leaves on the trees.

Every year we go to the orchards to pick apples. this year we went to DK Orchards to pick. We ended up with 4 1/2 bu. and took most of them to my parents house for my mom to use for apple pies at Thanksgiving and throughout the year.

Annie and Allie start Preschool.

Annie and Allie had their first day of preschool on Thursday, September 30, 2010. They only had a half day for their first day so they went from 7:45am -11am. Next week and there after they will go all day on Tuesday and Thursdays.
They were excited all summer and then as the time grew closer Allie started getting shy and not to sure about it. Annie surprisingly has been the outgoing one with school. They went to there Open House on the 28th, Darren took them because I was very sick. He said Allie stuck near him and Annie ran off and explored. Totally opposite of what you would think would happen if you know their personalities.
The night before their first day, Darren asked Allie if she was going to have fun and make friends at school and she said I already have a Best friend...it's Annie. Annie has already made a friend on her first day, her name is Emily. This cracks me up. Allie is sticking with Annie and her friend AC (her made up friend). It seems they had a great day, it's all they are talking about this weekend. Allie also keeps telling me they learned inside and outside.

They both loved it and cant wait to go back.

Twins Turn 4!

First Time Daddy gets to hold the Twins together in the NICU.

First time Mommy holds the Annie and Allie together in NICU.
I look at little tired.....:)

This is one of my all time favorite pics. As soon as we were able to have them both home we took them over to Great Grandma Coffey to hold. Her face says it all..... she wanted to hold them forever.

The Twins turned 4 last Sunday!
They are truly a blessing and my little miracles. All the girls like to hear the story of when they were born. Someday I will tell them all the story of when they were born but I cant tell it without crying. It was a very hard day for me and Darren too. I still remember everything but I love how God makes the hurt turn into Love and how you start to forget how bad it truely was when you look at the girls. I still look at them and think "Only God" ! They are here because of God. We had so many friends and family praying...we are truly blessed.

Annie picked a puppy cake.

Allie picked Strawberry Shortcake cake.

This year I had a request from Allie, she wanted her own cake. So we did. She was so cute asking me.
