Olivia took these pics today.
In the morning we had lots of rain and it all came in. We ended up using all of our towels to soak up and try to block water from coming in the basement, kitchen and dining room.
After lunch, the rain stopped, the sun was coming out and the guys were able to get all the sides up and trusses.
Tomorrow..planning on roof and shingles!
So we had alot to be thankful for today...that we had rain for the fields, the rain stopped so that our house could dry up on the inside, that Uncle Dale was ok..after being shot with the nail gun in the arm/wrist by Darren....and Merle was just sore and not badly hurt after a farm accident yesterday!

Olivia, you did a great job taking these pics! And how exciting that you are gonna be starting the roof today. Things are going very quickly. Tell Darren to stop injuring the help! It's not going to make them work any faster if he shots them with a nail gun.... :)
